Classroom walls dissolved into open skies and rich soil for the enthusiastic students of Shriram Montessori from grade three and above during their recent adventure with the FarmLab program. In an unforgettable day dedicated to paddy cultivation, the fields transformed into a vibrant, living classroom. With sleeves rolled up and spirits high, the children joyfully waded into the earth, feeling the cool mud squish between their fingers as they learned to handle delicate saplings with care.

This powerful, hands-on immersion forged a tangible connection to the food cycle and a profound insight into the effort and patience required to grow our food.
